倫敦,可能沒來過這座城市的人,不能說自己來過英國吧?
London, people who didn't visit this city, probably couldn't say that they've been to England, right?

姑且不論身為英國皇室所在地,就憑她擁有的兩個禮拜也逛不完的旅遊資產,就絕對值得來一趟
Not even need to mention that it's where the royal family stay, even with its all spotlights, which you are not able to finish in two weeks, it's totally worthy visiting once in a lifetime
拋開血拼不論,一些特色店可能都必須另開一篇來介紹

Not only shopping, but also all these special tiny stores should be disscussed other time
最佳俯瞰市容的角度,該以聖保羅大教堂莫屬,雖然入場費昂貴,但是教堂內部的確有一看的價值,何況能夠省去倫敦眼的大排長龍,何樂而不為呢?
The best place to see the whole London from above is St. Paul's Church, even though its price to access is quite expensive, inside is quite astonishing, and you don't need to queue for the London Eye
另外,喜愛音樂劇的人,Westend一定能夠滿足你的需求,讓人落淚的Once,血脈賁張的悲慘世界,歡樂洋溢的媽媽咪呀,還有無人不知的歌劇魅影,只怕你不夠時間一一嘗試
Besides, people who love musicals, cannot miss Westend! Once, Les Miserables, Mamma Mia, the Phantom of the Opera are all there, the only problem is if you have enough time to enjoy all of them
雖然英式食物惡名昭彰,但是在倫敦這似乎不再是個問題,其國際化程度遠勝台北,各式異國料理任君挑選
Infamous british food might change your point of views here in London, thanks to the internationalization, you can choose every kind of food you wanna eat
除了較高昂的物價與擁擠的地鐵外,實在令人找不到一趟來到英國卻不去倫敦的道理!
Except the more expensive cost and crowdy underground, there's no excuse not to visit London!

巴斯-古羅馬浴場

位於西南部的巴斯,最負盛名的就是被列為世界遺產的古羅馬浴場
Bath locates in the South West of England and is famous for its Thermae Romae
雖然比起羅馬的卡拉卡拉小了許多,但是重點仍放在其尚可運作這點上
it's smaller than those in Rome exactly, but it's still functional
從外觀來看似乎不具可看性,但是實際進入後,其展示內容相當豐富,非常值得一看
From outside it's not that attractibe; however you are able to learn a lot inside
巴斯的其他景點,如新月樓與教堂,就不如古羅馬浴場這般亮眼了
Comparing to other spots in Bath, like Royal Crescent and churches, they are not as interestung as the spa
交通上從倫敦前往相當方便,且市區不大,徒步觀光也綽綽有餘
It's really convenient to go there from London by train, and the city center is also suitable fro visiting by foot

坎特貝里大教堂

位於東南方的坎特貝里,最著名的就是大教堂與聖奧古斯汀修道院遺址
Cantebury locates in East South of London and is famous for its Cathedral and St. Augustin Abbey
先不論參觀大教堂的票價似乎稍嫌過高,內部的彩繪玻璃窗就已經相當值回票價了
Even though the price to access the cathedral is pretty high, the stained glasses would make you feel worthy

多佛-白崖

除此之外,市區範圍也都是可以徒步觀光的距離內
Except that, the city center isn't big, so it's easy to wander around by foot
從坎特貝里前往通往法國的門戶,多佛,只需短短半小時,就可以欣賞到著名"贖罪"電影場景的白崖
From Cantebury to the access point to France, Dover, it takes only 30 minutes, and you can already see the beautiful White Cliff in "Astonment"
不過前往白崖的路,前段大型貨車不斷經過,必須特別小心,後段則是一長段的上坡路,而且兩旁並沒有設置欄杆,除了體力之外,也需要一些心臟耐力
But the route toward White Cliff is quite dangerous, which includes trucks-passing main highway and a without railing uphill
從倫敦前往這兩座城市,都是可以當天來回的距離,當想脫離倫敦市儈氣息時,可以列入考慮
From London to these two cities could be arranged in one day. It's another kind of choice, once you are tired of the commercial atmosphare in London

位於劍橋郡的伊里,其實原先並沒有列在旅遊名單中,但為了與許久不見的老朋友聚聚,我們路過劍橋而不入,前往這座英國小鎮
Ely wasn't planned to visit at first. In order to spend some time with old friends, we decide to head to this small british town
就如老友所說的,"一不小心就會逛完了!" 伊里就是個讓人放慢腳步,悠悠閒閒走到哪看到哪的小鎮,週三週六的市集以及二手修復家具行,可能也會是掏寶的好所在
As my friend said, it's extremely easy to see everything in Ely. It's a place where you can slow down and enjoy the markets on the main square.

眾所皆知的英國景點,湖區,的重點對外城市,溫德米爾,只能以觀光客氾濫來形容
Everyone knows the lake district in England, and Windermere, the main city of the lake district, is totally crowded with tourist
日前的個人經驗,尤以大陸人最多,這一點實在是不得不扣分......
Especially the mainland chinese people, which makes me could not help but deducting some points...
然而,就交通便利性來看,對於不喜歡拖著行李長途跋涉的旅客,溫德米爾仍然是較好的住宿選擇
However, according to the transportation, if you prefer not to carry your luggage wandering around, Windermere is still the better option
市區相當小,但是有著充足的餐廳,酒吧與超市
City center is quite small, but is full of restaurants, pubs and supermarketes
徒步的話,必須走約十五至二十分鐘才會到達湖邊
By foot it would take around 20 minutes to get to the lake
在此個人比較推薦健行至至高點,俯瞰整個溫德米爾湖
I personally recommend to walk to Orrest to see the overview of Windermere Lake
至於彼得兔的相關景點,就端看個人的喜好了!
About the sights relating to Peter Rabbit, well, it all depends to personal taste then!

前往Lakeside以及Haverthwaite的方式是先乘船在換搭蒸汽火車
The only way to reach Lakeside and Haverthwaite is taking the boat and change to the steam train
如果是熱愛享受中途風光的人,的確有一去的價值
If you do enjoy the beautiful natural view during the journey, it's worth to go
但是若想要下車後前往另外較有深度的景點的話,這兩處可就要叫人失望了
However, if you want to visit some other inspirtual spots, it's quite dissapointing
Lakeside,地如其名,就是小碼頭,禮品店外加一間豪華旅館,另外還有間水族館,但我懷疑會有人大老遠從國外飛來看熱帶魚類......
Lakeside, as its name, there are only a small dock, a gift shop and a luxurious hotel. Oh, there's an aquarium as well, but I doubt, who will come from another country to visit an aquarium here...
Haverthwaite對於熱愛蒸汽火車卡通Thomas的小孩以及對蒸汽火車有熱忱的鐵道迷來說,倒是個不錯的選擇,不過除此之外,沒有其他景點可去
Haverthwaite is suitable for kids who love steaming train Thomas and for the steaming trains' fans, otherwise there's no other place to go
不過這段行程,也是需要一天的時間,欲前往的人,必須要稍微考慮一下
This journey would take also one day, which should be considerated carefully

Buttermere

湖區的北方據點,凱思維克,是前往英國人票選最漂亮的湖Buttermere的必要中繼站
Keswick locates in the north of Lake District, and it's the main entrance to Buttermere, which was selected as the most beautiful lake in England
但是鄰近卻藏有比遠近馳名的Salisbury史前石柱群更老的石柱群
but, there's also ancient Stonehenge nearby, which is even older than the one in Salisbury
雖然相對小很多,但是人卻可以更接近
Even though it's smaller, you can acutally get closer
不過前往的路途,是令老人家望之生畏的迢迢上坡路,老人家可得三思
But the route to get there is a long uphill, seniors would probably need to consider about that
Buttermere則不負眾望,的確有衛冕的資格,不過建議保留至少一至兩小時,走完環繞整片湖的健行路線,才能看到完整的美景
Buttermere truly has every right to be called the most beautiful lake; however it's suggested to reserve one to two hours to finish the wandering path around the lake to see the complete view

慕尼黑聖誕市集巡禮（第四集）Tour of X'mas Market in Munich (Nr. 4)

今天就是慕尼黑聖誕市集開張的日子了！相信大家都迫不及待地想看到所有燈飾點亮漆黑夜空的樣子了吧？！
出發之前，不妨先來看看最後三座慕尼黑的聖誕市集吧！

Today's the day that X'mas market starts! I believe everyone is excited about to see all the decorations shine under the dark night, right?
Before we head to the markets, why not check the last three markets in Munich out?

10. Dachauer Christkindlmarkt
地點：Dachau (S2 Dachau Bahnhof)

位於慕尼黑郊區的Dachauer Christkindlmarkt，因為交通十分不便的關係，幾乎看不見觀光客。即便因為市集偏小，當地居民仍然會因為其最大的特色 - 一個巨型的聖誕月曆前來。人們只需要花一歐元就可以參加摸彩，每天晚上七點，聖誕月曆就會翻出那天的獎品，並且公佈得獎者。

Dachauer Christkindlmarkt's located in the suburb of Munich, because it's not easy to arrive, tourists barely come here to visit. Even thought it's quite small, local people still come here to check out the giant advent's calendar. Everyone just donates one Euro to participate the lottery, and every evening at 7 O'clock a new block of the advent calendar will be opened and they will announce the winner of the day.

來到達郝，除了試試手氣以及逃離市區人群之外，回程的路上掛滿吊飾的行道樹，更讓人有著特別不同的聖誕感受。

Coming to Dachau, besides of trying your luck and getting away from the crowds in the city, the decorated trees along the main street could also give you a special X'mas atmosphere.

11. Bogenhauser Weihnachtzauberwald
地點：Arabellapark (U4 Arabellapark)

姑且不說交通便利性不高，這座聖誕市集的名稱取得太名過其實了......。
倘若幾顆光禿禿的樹木就可以被稱為魔法森林（Zauberwald），我想之前生活在森林裡的古日耳曼人會哭泣吧？！

First, just forget how inconvenient it is to get here, the name of the X'mas market is just  so exaggerated....
If only few trees without leaves could be called magical forest, I think the ancient German, who lived in forest, should definitely cry, right?!

雖然他們在燈飾上做了些功課，仍然無法遮掩四周水泥建築物的醜陋事實。
攤販數量以及造訪人數算是相當少。雖然寫到現在，言下之意就是極度不推薦人們來此一遊，不過我最好奇的是，他們明年究竟還辦不辦得成？

Even they did have done some works on the decoration, it still can't cover the ugly truth that it's surrounded by concrete buildings.
The number of stands and visitors is really rare. Although what I wrote so far is actually telling people not to go there, what makes me more curious is, if they are still going to be able to hold another market next year?

12. Weihnachtsmarkt am Chinaturm
地點：Chinesischer Turm (Bus 54/154 Chinesischer Turm)

在慕尼黑英式花園的中國塔旁，竟然有著最給人聖誕氣氛的市集！該有的聖誕市集元素，一樣也沒少，再加上四周的自然景色，幾乎是無可挑剔了！尤其是在下雪的季節，讓人有種在深山中享受熱紅酒的錯覺！

Next to the china tower in the English garten, there's a most "christmas" X'mas markt in Munich! Everything you should have in a X'mas market, you can definitely get here, plus the natural view around, there's actually nothing to complain! Especially when it snows, it even makes you believe that you're enjoying your warm Glühwein in the forest!

這裡的攤販同樣也提供了各式各樣的商品與食物，從木製玩具到蠟燭台，從德式香腸到法式鬆餅。況且，公車站牌就在不到兩分鐘的步程內，還有什麼好猶豫的呢？

The stands here also offer multiple choices of foods, drinks and souvenirs. From candles and toys made from wood, from german sausages to french pancakes. After all, the bus stop is just two minutes away, what kind of reason should stop you visiting here?

位於慕尼黑老城門之一，此聖誕市集也稱得上是麻雀雖小、五臟俱全。靠著交通便利性，以及在古城門下喝著熱紅酒的浪漫想法吸引著許多人前來。唯一美中不足的地方就是場地不大，導致攤販不多，也因此選擇性相對下降。


This market's located next to one of the oldest city gates of Munich. It's small, but still, it gets all you need. Because it's easy to arrive, many people come here to feel some romantic moments with Glühwein unter the ancient city wall. The only thing can be complained is that the number of stands is less than the others.

8. Pink Christmas

光是名稱就特別與眾不同的Pink Christmas是特別提供給同志朋友的另一種聖誕市集選擇。其位於同志酒吧聚集區域，並且從名字上就可以猜出，其燈光擺飾自然少不了粉色系列。攤販所販賣的食物與其他市集並沒有太大差別。亮點方面除了多了一般聖誕市集不會有的情趣用品聖誕版外，還有中央舞台的定時表演。

Just its name already makes wonder and get curious. Pink Christmas is a X'mas market specially designed for LGBT friends. It locates next to the LGBT area, and you can already tell from its name, the colors of decorations are definitely not lack of PINK! Foods and drinks aren't different from the others. The spotlights could be some sexual toys, which you are not able to see in the other markets, and live shows on the central stage.






這個聖誕市集相當小，但人氣不減，所以要有被推擠的心理準備。一個月下來的盈餘也會做為提供給LGBT機構或是愛滋協會作為慈善基金。想要轉換一下安詳寧靜的聖誕氛圍時，不妨來與可愛熱情的同志朋友們狂歡吧！

Even though it's small, it's still very popular. The income of this X'mas market will also partially donated to LGBT groups. If you wanna try some kind of different X'mas atmosphere, why don't you try to party with lovely LGBT friends here?

9. Sendlinger Christkindlmarkt am Harras

位於Harras的這座聖誕市集，是個城區性的市集，所以也走迷你經營路線。小歸小，該有的還是有，像是聖誕熱紅酒和糖炸堅果。整體下來，沒有特別的亮點，所以也就被歸納為下班後路過喝一杯的存在了......。

This one is also a local X'mas market. What you need for a X'mas market, you can get here, such as Glühwein and Mandel. However, there's no special spotlight of this market, so it's kind of a place who you can pass through and get a quick drink after work...

若非真正對收集聖誕市集紅酒杯有愛的人，應該是不太值得特地跑一趟的。

Unless you're determined to collect all kinds Glühwein cups, it's not that worthy visiting.

因為最近有家人過生日，忽然想到初到德國時被提醒的慶生大忌，

也另外寫上來和大家分享一下！

Because recently one of family members celebrated his birthday, it suddenly reminds me the taboo of celebrating birthday, which I was taught when I first came to Germany.

So, here is a reminder to share for everyone!

在台灣，我們和友人過國曆生日、與家人過農曆生日，似乎是相當平常的事。

但是家裡老一輩的都會說，不可以晚過！

就我的想法，或許是認為這種慶祝大事不該怠慢吧？

In Taiwan, we usually celebrate our birthdays based on western calendar with our friends, and the ones based on lunar calendar with our families.

However, grand parents or even parents might remind you that you shouldn't celebrate your birthday after your actual date of birth!

In my opinion, they may believe that this kind of event shouldn't be slighted.

在德國，自然沒有我們所謂的農曆。

而且，「怠慢」反而是種美德（當然不是要你幾個月後才祝賀喔！）。

德國人有句俗語：「Du sollst den Tag nicht vor dem Abend loben.」，

直譯的話就是人們不該在夜晚來臨前讚美白晝，

也就是說，我們不該在事情肯定之前說破，不然就有可能不會實現了！

要是甲提前祝乙生日快樂，就代表慶生會不會到來，也就間接地代表乙可能提前發生意外而無法過生日了！

（或許就雷同我們所謂的折壽？）

In Germany, there's no lunar calendar like us.

Besides, it's a virtue to "slight" (Of course, it doesn't mean you should gratulate your friends after couple of months!).

There's a saying in Germany: "Du sollst den Tag nicht vor dem Abend loben.", which means, you should praise the day before the night comes, in the other word, we shouldn't say anything, before the things are settled, otherwise, it might not come true!

If A gives B his/her birthday wishes to early, it might mean his/her birthday might not come, and indirectly indicates that B might have an accident, so that he/she cannot celebrate his/her birthday!

想不想穿越時光隧道、回到中古世紀呢？或許同樣位於Odeonsplatz旁的中古市集可以滿足你也說不定喔！這座聖誕市集最大的賣點就在於攤販建築、員工穿著、桌面擺設以及飲料酒杯都是走中古風格路線，就連飲食也特地推出了蜂蜜麥酒以及烤乳豬！對於已經逛膩了一般聖誕市集的人，這裡可以提供你不同的新鮮感。

Wanna travel back to middle ages? Maybe the middle ages next to Odeonsplatz could be suitable for you! The most special reason to visit this X'mas market is that the architecture, the dresses, the decoration and even the cups are middle ages style, you can also get honey mead and road suckling pig! For those who's done with normal X'mas markets, this one could offer you another kind of adventure!

但是相對地，也必須要注意，如此大費周章的籌劃，其成本必定是會轉嫁給消費者的......，不過我相信，多數人仍然不會後悔為此買單的！

But because of  this kind of organization, which costs time and money, the prices here are relative more expensive than others.... Still, I believe, most of you will still be interested to come!

5. Haidhauser Weihnachtsmarkt

此聖誕市集位於慕尼黑東站旁的Weißenburger Platz上，是座標準城區性的聖誕市集，因此規模相對較小。其提供的商品方面，就只能侷限於傳統的聖誕紅酒以及薑餅，新潮的手工藝品也較沒有多樣選擇，不過價格方面相較之下，就顯得親民許多。








This X'mas market located on the Weißenburger Platz as a typical local one, so it's also smaller than the ones mentioned above. What they provide are limited in Glühwein and Lebkuchen, handmade decorations are also lack of multiple choices; however, the prices are definitely kinder (cheaper).

長住於此的居民，視其為下班後與親友聚會的好去處。即便離市中心較遠，貨品種類較少，但是燈飾方面仍然是做得非常到位！其是否值得一遊，也就留給各位自行抉擇了。










Here could be a great place for those who live here to gather with relatives and friends after work. Even it's farer and provides less stuffs, the decorations are still pretty beautiful! However, the decision, if you'll be willing to travel with underground to get here, should be left to you to make.

6. Tollwood

Tollwood位於Theresienwiese地鐵站旁。九月底的啤酒節場地，搖身一變，成為慕尼黑最大的聖誕市集！這個市集最大的特色，除了有許多現場表演者之外，就屬對有機路線的堅持了。除了有機蔬菜、有機肉品外，連所使用的電力都是號稱百分之百乾淨再生能源！

Tollwood is held next to the U-Bahn station Theresienwiese. The infamous place of Oktoberfest is turned to be the biggest X'mas market in Munich! What make this market special are live shows and bio-organic policy. They provide not only bio-vegetable and bio-meat, but also the electric power is certificated to be 100% clear energy!

其不只場地大，連攤販的數量與種類都成正比地增長，在這裡絕對不怕找不到想吃的東西！更貼心的是，場地上還設有許多形形色色的餐飲帳篷，讓你在寒冷的冬天，也可以與三五好友窩在帳篷裡，吃著熱呼呼的餐點。









Because of the location, the number of stands and the types of food are really plentiful, so you will never be worried that you cannot find something great to eat! The best is, they even provide tents, so everyone can enjoy their drinks or meals with friend in a cozy, warm tent with benches.

這樣的貼心設計以及節能減碳的做法，自然也讓價格水漲船高，這應該也算是其最大的缺點吧！

The biggest defection of this market could only be the price. But with this environment friendly policy and great organization, you can't really blame them, can you?

近年來在台灣也開始盛行的聖誕市集，
實際上起源於德國與奧地利地區，
正式名稱為「Weihnachtsmarkt」。
隨著原本準備過冬而囤積日常生活用品的目的逐漸消失，
觀光目的實際上已經大於日常所需了。

Recently so the called "X'mas market" is also getting popular in Taiwan, which is actually original from the german area such as Germany and Austria.
Its official name is "Weihnachtsmarkt".
Comparing to the past, the touristic reasons are much more important than daily needs in these days.

各個城市在十一月底到聖誕節前夕，
都會在主要廣場上擺設聖誕市集的攤位，
而慕尼黑自然沒有例外！
在巴伐利亞邦，聖誕市集也稱為「Christkindlmarkt」，
雖然名稱有所不同，但本質上並沒有太大的差異。
今年慕尼黑周邊的聖誕市集開放時間落在十一月二十七日到十二月二十四日平安夜之間，
有興趣的朋友們，別錯過接下來的聖誕市集簡介喔！

Every city will arrange X'mas market on the main square from the end of November to the day before Christmas, and Munich is of course, not an exception.
In Bavarian, Weihnachtsmarkt's also called "Christkindlmarkt";
however, there's no difference particularly.
In this year, the X'mas market shall be hold from 27th Nov. until 24th Dec..

1. Christkindlmarkt auf dem Marienplatz

此位於觀光中心地帶的聖誕市集，其涵蓋面積應屬慕尼黑市區第二大（僅次於Tollwood），且居於慕尼黑所有聖誕市集中，觀光客造訪人數的龍頭地位。據市政府統計指出，光是到十二月中旬，就已經有一百七十幾萬人造訪！

This market, which is located in the centre of tourism, should be the second big market in Munich (the first one should be Tollwood), but it gets the most tourists because of its location. According to the city hall, there've been more than 1.7 million people, who visited!

在這個聖誕市集，基本上人們已經可以看到所有德國聖誕市集所應該具有的特色：熱紅酒、現烤薑餅以及數不清的傳統手工藝品。唯一美中不足的地方在於，身為觀光客集散地，也意謂著必須捨棄傳統聖誕節那寧靜安詳的氛圍......。







In this X'mas market, you can basically see all spotlights of a german X'mas market: Glühwein, Lebkuchen and many handmade decorations. The only defect is that because of the location there're too many tourists instead of a "silent night"....

不過，一趟來到慕尼黑，就算並非為了聖誕市集而來，也不該錯過聖誕裝飾下光鮮亮麗的新市政廳！另外，往Sendlingerstraße方向尚有一座小型的附屬聖誕市集（Rindermarkt），即便人潮不如瑪麗恩廣場，但是燈光裝飾卻一點也不馬虎，也算是個逃離喧囂的好去處！







However, even you're not coming to Munich because of its X'mas markets, you shouldn't miss the brillant city hall with its christmas decorations. On the other hand, if you go along to the Sendlingerstraße, there's a small market on the Rindermarkt, which could get you away from the noise on the main square!

2. Schwabinger Weihnachtsmarkt

這座聖誕市集位於慕尼黑主要幹道「路德維希大街」（Ludwigstr.）的盡頭。
自十九世紀晚期以來，以藝術家集散區獨樹一格的史瓦賓區，自然不會錯過一年一度的聖誕市集盛會。除了該有的德國聖誕市集元素，也多了許多手工飾品，並主打附近大學城的年輕市場。憑藉著交通便利，以及較少觀光人潮的優勢，近年來也成為相當是歡迎的聖誕市集之一。可惜的是，價格就所有聖誕市集比較起來似乎偏高......。





This market's located at the end of one of the main streets of Munich - Ludwigstr..
From the late 19th, the Schwabing area is the center of artists, and of course they won't miss the X'mas market season. Except of all the german X'mas elements, it's particularly popular for students. Because of the location and lack of tourists, it's getting more popular in these years. The pity is that the prices here are a little bit more expensive than others....

3. Weihnachtsdorf in der Residenz

位於著名觀光景點 - 皇宮 - 內的聖誕市集，應該算是容易被忽略的聖誕市集之一了！麻雀雖小，五臟俱全是相當適合他的形容詞句。食物、飲料，甚至是服裝飾品，應有盡有。除了交通便利外，價格並沒有因為地點而特別升高。然而由於場地的關係，似乎不太適合有幽閉恐懼症或是人群恐懼症的患者前來......，畢竟天空被四周的建築物遮去了一半，更是有著瞬間讓人群增多的效果！

It's located in one of the touristic spotlights of Munich - the residence; therefore, some people might just ignore it. Even though it's small, it does get everything we need. Foods, drinks, even clothes can be found here. It's easy to reach with underground, and the prices are reasonable. However, because of the location, I do not suggest people who have Claustrophobia or Sociophobia to come here..., after all, the sky was half covered by the buildings...!

凜冬將至 Winter is coming

看到這標題......，
不不不，我們不是要討論正打得火熱的權力遊戲影集！
而是要大家告訴大家，今天的德國冬天終於要來了......。
（除了期待很久想要衝上山的滑雪客外，我想大家多少開始有點哀怨了吧......。）

But to tell everybody, the winter this year is really coming....
(Except of our Skiers, I guess most of us is kind of getting a little bit sad, right?...)









德國今年來了個持續很久暖秋，一直到上個禮拜都還有攝氏十五度左右，
但氣象預測指出，今夜開始（十一月二十一日）氣溫會直直落到零度以下！
一般來說，慕尼黑的初雪落在十月底到十一月初中間，今年已經算是相當晚了！
這或許也是地球暖化所造成的氣候變遷之一吧......
（哪天台北市區開始飄雪，我相信地球就壞得差不多了！）

This year we did have a long warm fall, there were even around 15 degrees until last week,
but the forecast indicates, tonight it will going down and down under zero!
Generally, the first snow should land in Munich between the end of October and the beginning of November, comparing to this, it's already late!
It's said that it might be one of climatic changes because of global warming...
(When the snow falls in the centre of Taipei city, I guess in that time, the Earth should be totally broken!)

吃飽喝足的英式早餐 Have you tried the famous "English breakfast"?

不知道大家有沒有享用過所謂的「英式早餐」呢？
相信來過英國的旅客們對於炸魚薯條、英式早餐以及英式下午茶絕對不陌生！
但是正統的英式早餐又究竟包含了哪些要素呢？

Have you ever tried the so called "English breakfast"?
I believe most of the tourists who had visited UK must be familiar with Fish 'n Chips, English breakfast and English tea time!
But what does a real English breakfast include?

英式早餐主要風行於英國與愛爾蘭，許多酒吧甚至提供全天候的英式早餐。
正統的英式早餐又被稱為全套英式早餐(Full English breakfast)，
也會簡稱為全套英式(Full English)！
所以下次民宿老闆問你要不要全套英式時，可得記住他是在問你早餐菜色喔！

English breakfast is majorly popular in Britain und Ireland, many pubs even provide English breakfast all day long.
Traditional English breakfast is also called "Full English breakfast" and "Full English",
so next time if you're asked if you want a full English, don't forget it's all about what you are going to have to break your fast!

一份完整的英式早餐中包含以下幾種食材：
油煎培根
炒、波奇、或滑蛋
烤蕃茄
油煎蘑菇
奶油吐司
香腸
茄汁焗豆
若是老闆再大方一點，還有可能再加上血腸與薯餅！

A complete English breakfast includes:
Fried bacon,
fried, poached or scrambled eggs,
grilled tomato,
fried mushroom,
toast with butter,
sausages,
baked beans.
And if the host's absolutely generous, you will probably also get black pudding and hash browns!

看到上面提到的所有食物，是不是就覺得胃口大開了呢？
通常英式早餐會搭配熱茶，如英式早餐茶，近年來也為了符合大眾口味，也可以選擇搭配咖啡喔！
（茶點部分之後也會在網誌上另做文章討論。）
由於上述食材幾乎都經過油煎處理，全套英式早餐也被口語戲稱為「油煎餐」(Fry-Up)......
（少女們請注意，一餐吃下來熱量真的不低啊！）

After reading all these foods above, aren't you getting starve already?
Usually hot tea comes along, like English breakfast tea. Recently, in order to suit everybody's taste, a cup of coffee is also an option!
(About English tea, there'll be another article to discuss it.)
Because most of materials above are fried, so the English breakfast is also called "Fry-Up"...
(Attention! A full English provides more than average calories...)

如同台灣有南部粽與北部粽，英國的各個區域也延伸出了不同的英式早餐變體：
愛爾蘭早餐中多了白豬肉香腸與蘇打麵包的選項；
蘇格蘭早餐中由麥餅代替了白吐司、多了以絞肉與麵包塊做的方形香腸還有馬鈴薯司康；
威爾斯早餐多了蛤蠣、海帶麥泥和威爾斯香腸，且近年來更風行加上煙燻煎魚！

Like we have southern ZongZi (A traditional taiwanese food) (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zongzi) and northern ZongZi in Taiwan. Some areas in UK also developed their own English breakfast:
Irish breakfast adds white pudding and soda bread;
Scottish breakfast substitutes white toast with oatcakes, adds Lorne sausages and tattie scones;
Welsh breakfast adds cockles, laverbread and Welsh sausages, recently it's also popular to serve with smoked fish!

與傳統歐陸早餐多為輕食大異其趣，也是英式早餐特別吸引旅客注意的原因之一。
英式早餐在準備上難度並不高，所有的食材都可以在超市購買到。
只是若是第一次實作、不夠熟練的話，可能會發現爐子不夠使用或是將食材烤焦的情形......
所謂熟能生巧，別忘了在下次想給親愛的一份早餐驚喜前，先試做過幾次喔！

Comparing to the continent breakfast, English breakfast does have its unique selling proposition.
It's quite easy to prepare a full English, and all materials are available in supermarkets.
Only if it's your first time to try it, there might some situations like lack of stoves or burning your food....
People say: Practice makes perfect. Don't forget to practice a little bit, before you offer a breakfast surprise to your loved one!
